Drake L-4B Linear Amplifier With Power supply L-4PS and new spare tubes USED.
I'm listing this for a friend and below is the description he typed up for it.
Listed is my Drake L4-B Amp (80-10). I purchased in 07-2012 as a project. The power supply has the upgrade board, new caps. It is currently wired for 240volts. This amp works great, has the owner’s manual (reprinted plus digital copy). Also listed will be a set of NOS 3-500Z tubes. Currently selling together but if buyer only wants the amp, then will sell the tubes separate after the amp sale. Am willing to drive to meet about 50 miles from Zip Code 42754, central western Ky. Unit is sold as-is.
If the buyer doesn't want the spare tubes then contact me before buying and I will drop the price for it to $1300 and contact you when it has been updated.
Only one tube is shown in the pictures because the other one is still sealed in the box.
This will ship in 3 separate packages, Amp, Power Supply, and tubes, so shipping won't be cheap. All packages will be fully insured at there full value so that adds to the cost too. I have added a $150 handling charge to cover the shipping cost for all 3 packages and insurance. Ebay only allows me to input size and weight for one item, that's why the high handling fee, to cover other things. Any overpayment will be refunded in the end. I reserve the right to change the shipping method to a cheapest service, provides insurance, etc, in spite of what you may choose through ebay. I will be very flexible with the shipping, but I have to cover all bases as best can.
